Actual Contacts for Outlook(ACO) - расширение Microsoft® Outlook® для поддержки актуальности адресной книги. Actual Contacts for Outlook is a Microsoft Outlook add-in for updating your address book and monitoring validity of e-mail addresses in contacts. Select the contacts you would like to update and Oulook add-in will send a message containing a special form to these addresses. The respondents will be able to update their data in your address book by filling in this form. This Outlook add-in is also able to check your address-book. It takes it a few minutes to inform you about the contacts that contain invalid email addresses. Actual Contacts Outlook also supports validation of the recipient list in Mail Merge Mode in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word (a mail merge function is prerequisite for version 2002 or later ones). In order to check an address, Outlook add-in imitates sending a message to this address. When the server confirms or doesn’t confirm the existence of this address, the program cancels message sending and finishes the session correctly. So, address verification is technically correct and cannot be noticed by the address owner. Now Actual Contacts Outlook has the full functionality of Contacts Verifier add-in which was earlier offered as a separate Outlook tool.
Tasks that can be solved with Actual Contacts Outlook: * Updating your contacts. This is the main purpose of the program. To do it, just specify parameters and send the update request. * Collecting additional information. It often happens that new contacts are acquired during after exhibitions and seminars where you may only have managed to note their names and e-mail addresses. This Outlook add-in will help you to collect the missing information quite easily! * Simple surveys. Customizable templates (with different fields included in the form) make the program a simple to use information tool. * Updating your contact information in your respondents' address books. You can add information about yourself in the VCard format to your update request. Almost all e-mail clients and mobile devices can import this information into their contact lists.
Program Features: * Compatibility. A standart message with an HTML form based on the contact's field entries is sent to the contact's e-mail address. If the e-mail client of your respondent supports HTML, he or she can correct his/her information in the fields of the form and send it back. В настройках программы есть опция присваивания категории создаваемым контактам. Если при отправлении письма ему назначена категория, то такая же категория в этом случае будет назначена и созданному контакту.
Для сохранения контактов программой вы можете выбрать любую папку - в персональном ящике или в публичных папках на сервере Microsoft® Exchange. При добавлении контакта Add Contacts проверяет папку на наличие дубликатов. Также в настройках программы можно указать Add Contacts искать дубликаты контакта не только в заданной папке, но и во всех папках с контактами в персональном ящике.
Обратите внимание, что похожая функциональность по автоматическому добавлению контактов была доступна в Microsoft Outlook 2000 в режиме IMO (почта Интернета), но была убрана из следующих версий Microsoft Outlook. Add Contacts is an Outlook add-on that automatically adds e-mail addresses to the contact folder when you reply to a message and/or send a new message.
This Microsoft Outlook add-on will help you to avoid losing addresses of people you correspond with. Moreover, the collected addresses can be used for mail filtering. For example, you can use the Rule Wizard to have messages from certain senders (whose addresses are there in the address book) placed in a separate folder to ensure that their message will be dealt with greater priority and no important messages will be lost with deleted spam. Some spam filters also check the contact folder to rule out erratic responses to recognised senders.
When a contact is being created, this Outlook add-on attempts to detect the name corresponding to the e-mail address automatically. So, if you have received a message from the address "John Smith" , the new contact created by the program will be named John Smith. However, if name detection fails, Outlook add-on attempts to retrieve it from the message body itself. For example, if your message begins with the words "Dear John,", the program will automatically extract the name from the greeting and create a contact named John. You can disable automatic name detection in the Outlook add-on settings.
You can also enable the option of category assigning to created contacts. If a category is assigned to a message while sending, the same category will be assigned to the created contact.
You can choose any folder as the contact destination, either in your personal mailbox or in public folders on Microsoft Exchange server. When adding a contact, Add Contacts checks the folder for possible duplicates. In the program settings, you can also instruct this Outlook add-on to search for contact duplicates throughout all contact folders in your personal mailbox besides the specific destination folder.
Please note that the similar automatic contact adding feature was available with Microsoft Outlook 2000 in the IMO mode (Internet Mail), but further Microsoft Outlook versions don't have it. To check if this option is available with your version of Outlook, select the Options item in the Tools menu, switch to the tab Preferences and click the Email Options button. If you are using Microsoft Outlook 2000 you will see the option "Automatically put people I reply to in" at the bottom of the dialogue.

When some Internet users move from one service provider to another, they do not take their email address along with them. Users who lost their email accounts may not notify you of their loss. Internet users may choose to subscribe to your service with a phony email address so that they have access to a free download or a free offer that you may be offering online. Hence, you are left with dead email addresses.
Avoid sending newsletters to bad addresses. If you ultimately decide to use a commercial service to manage your list and send your newsletters, you will usually pay either by the number of sent messages or by the size of your list. If you handle the newsletter mailing yourself, then it becomes a time issue. In other case, you will have to deal with bounced messages.
List hygiene plays a role in the delivery race. It is important to maintain a clean mailing list and remove bounced/undeliverable emails because a lot of ISP mail servers have been known to block a sender's email domain for repeated sending messages to non-existing email addresses.
The average email address lifespan is approximately three years. What happens to old, abandoned addresses? Rather than kill them, many ISP recycle them to new users or add them to filters as "spamtrap" addresses. (A spamtrap is an email address used by a filtering service to identify spam. Many are created by filtering services and placed in public domains, such as chat rooms and message boards.) Either way, email sent to a spamtrap doesn't bounce. It's received by someone and considered spam, or sent straight into a blackhole (deleted), along with all the rest of your messages to that ISP users. Thought cleaning your list wasn't high priority? It's mandatory.

There is no need to disturb your clients and friends anymore to check if their e-mail addresses are still valid. AEV connects directly to their SMTP server and checks it for you. Nothing is sent to the recipient. AEV can work in your system tray.

Additionally, verifying the addresses using a tool isn't enough. Unless your addresses came from a customer database, you probably want to remove all administrative addresses such as orders@*, support@*, listserv@* to which you don't want the newsletter goes. There are more, but that's a good start. If you don't remove these, then you'll receive automated replies from a lot of places. To remove such email addresses you can use a powerful Search/Filter Engine from Advanced Email Verifier.

Advanced Folders Watch is a powerful and very flexible Outlook add-in for managers, analysts, observers, technical support team members — for everyone who has to deal with a great number of e-mail messages, and anyone who has to respond to e-mail messages while on-the-go, as well as those who just appreciate their time.
Thousands of the new messages from news conferences are downloaded into common folders on your corporate server every day. Several employees view messages in the conferences on an everyday basis in order to: * find mentions of your products and products offered by the competitors; * to reveal users searching for software and solutions to which a trial of your products or partner’s could be recommended; * to get inspiration for new ideas and finger on the pulse knowledge to predict or be aware of any potential problems.
Newsgroups where users come with their problems are a very good free source of new clients for small companies. There is only one problem with it: the numbers of messages in these conferences are simply terrifying.
On our server, we have our own public conferences concerned with many different problems, and some of them are visited very rarely. There is no sense in checking them several times a day, but we would feel extremely ashamed to find a message from a user that had remained unanswered for a week.
This prompted us to create the Advanced Folders Watch a flexible Outlook add-in designed to monitor Microsoft Outlook folder and common folders on a Microsoft Exchange server, this saves us hundreds of man-hours and also allows for the improvement of the quality of our work with current and potential clients.
How it works
This Outlook add-in watches the specified folder groups and informs the user of new messages meeting certain selection criteria (filters). User notification can be passive or active. In the first instance, Advanced Folders Watch creates posts in the specified folder, containing links to the messages found and message texts. Using these links, one can open a message or the folder it is stored in, by just one click. In the second instance, the messages found are shown in a pop-up window with extra features: you can view the new document, open, delete, or copy it. The two notification methods can be combined.
A group of settings consisting of the list of folders, filters, and notification settings forms a rule — the main logical component of the program. The number of rules this Outlook add-in can work with is unlimited. The rules are created using a Wizard, and in the rule properties editing mode, one can set a most sophisticated array of filters for the selection of messages. In the properties editing mode, rule testing is also available — for example, you can check to see if the rule will work for messages received over the past month or six months. The testing mode not only helps debugging but the rules help to avoid erratic operation, it can also be used to process an old message database.
Advanced Folders Watch offers solutions for a wide range of tasks related to message monitoring in public folders. And we hope it will become your true assistant, your navigator in the electronic information ocean.

You can use this Outlook plugin to find mail message copies both in a single folder and in different folders. A duplicate message found can be: * marked with flag Red flag * deleted * copied to any folder you choose * moved to any folder you choose

When Duplicate Email Remover compares mail message texts, it gives preference to the Plain Text format. This format is chosen as the most versatile one. The RTF and HTML format are only used if a message or post cannot be presented in the Plain Text format. While comparing message or post texts, Duplicate Email Remover ignores spaces, hyphens and tab symbols since they carry no additional information. * When Duplicate Email Remover compares internet headers, it ignores the information about the message service sites and the time of message transmission. This is because the same message transmitted through different services will have a different heading, but it won't contain any additional information. * One or more files can be attached to a mail message or post. Outlook plugin compares both the names and the contents of such attached files. * Any given message has two very important parameters: the sending date and time and the receiving date and time. The date and time of a mail message received cannot be used as message comparison criteria, as one and the same message may be received at different times. That's why only the sending date and time are compared. With posts, the posting time is used for comparing.
