DVD Decrypter could easily be the best DVD ripping program. The reason for such a statement lies in the fact that it is able to decrypt a majority of protected DVDs, and even users of other ripping utilities usually have DVDDecrypter at hand just in case. Unfortunately, the official webpage of this program was closed down, and the last version 3.5.4.0 was released in March '05. The development and any support of the program were ceased due to the court decision, a fate not unfamiliar nowadays for any DVD ripping software.
